The Mid-Season Tournament Rules Of Engagement (ROE) are as follows:

1. Smile, love thy neighbor (no the Commissioner's Office will not receive your unsightly pictures), have fun!  
2. Each game is 19 points rally scoring (each serve counts as a point) and win by 2 points.  Instant replay unavailable at this time, but highlights are sure to be on ESPN-HLA tonight...much watch TV.
3. Must win 2 out of 3 games to win the match
4. If you loose 2 matches you are eliminated...no worries...stay and enjoy carefree, quality time with your Commissioner
5. You forfeit each game your team is unavailable per 15 minute increments (see below for reasoning)
6. All other Code of Conduct (document available on HLA website) rules apply if not otherwise stated above.  Ringers will be sentenced to walk behind the Hundred Goose March...step lively dude...who is in charge of the goose fry...flyin terd-bags.
7. Smile, love thy neighbor (OK, the Commissioner will review pictures if your neighbor is a supermodel), have fun! 

 
Please have your team ready to play by the times listed below.  For this tournament to work we really need to have folks be available and ready to play all day.  The Commissioner will do his best to get your team breaks.  But after 15 minutes if a team is unavailable they forfeit the first game and will loose each game they are missing per 15 minute increments.  I know, I know I am a big meany...just remember 14 teams, double elimination and only 3 courts and some teams wait for multiple hours to play...I am just sayin.
 
Your Commissioner has approved league funds for the purchase of charcoal, hotdogs, buns & condiments.  Tracy Burdette & Gary Patton have volunteered to cook.  Feel free to offer your assistance if you can.  Bring your patience, smiles and any other food you wish to eat.  Newbees be advised teams generally bring a free standing awning for shade...long, hot, sunny day...

Your Commissioner has order up a Kodacolor day for our tournament.  During play time it will be mostly sunny with a 10% chance of precipitation and a high of 87, with light winds (9 MPH out of the south, aka the lake).  Sunset is 8:29 PM (with this many teams it may be a factor)
