If you are coming from Bloomington, take Market/Rt 9 until
you get to the flashing yellow light, that indicates that
Route 9 turns to the RIGHT (NORTH)...then approx. 2 miles
going north Rt. 9 either goes straight into Danvers or curves
to the LEFT (WEST)...go with the curve. You have approx. 12
miles to go.
Continue on Route 9 into Tazwell County and pass the Winery
on your left. Soon you will be coming up to COIL (on your
RIGHT). You'll see a sign that says Heritage Lake. Take a
RIGHT onto COIL (NORTH) and then at the stop sign take a LEFT
(WEST) onto FAST. Take FAST until you see the MAIN ENTRANCE
to Heritage Lake (by the bank and the water tower). Take a
RIGHT into the entrance. When you get to HERITAGE DRIVE, make
a LEFT and continue to the lake/docking area. The race will
start on the dam.
If you are coming from the Tremont/Pekin area, take Rt. 9
past the town of Mackinaw to Leopold Road (signs are marked
to turn) If you have past the Hometown Carwash, you've gone
too far. Turn LEFT onto Leopold Take Leopold Road to Fast.
Make a RIGHT on Fast. You will soon be approaching the entrance
to Heritage Lake on your LEFT. Go to the stop sign at Heritage
Drive and make a LEFT. Continue on until you get to the lake/dam.

If you are coming from the Morton/Peoria area, 155 south
to the Route 9 exit and to towards Bloomington, take Rt. 9
past the town of Mackinaw to Leopold Road (signs are marked
to turn) If you have past the Hometown Carwash, you've gone
too far. Turn LEFT onto Leopold Take Leopold Road to Fast.
Make a RIGHT on Fast. You will soon be approaching the entrance
to Heritage Lake on your LEFT. Go to the stop sign at Heritage
Drive and make a LEFT. Continue on until you get to the lake/dam.
